I have been in Japan since childhood. I studied in Japanese school until 5th grade. I didn't know english properly. We searched for many international schools in Japan, but there were no seats. So we came to India to study english language. I was little bit sad because I would be missing my friends and my house. In my essay, I am going to talk about my experience in Hyderabad for the last 2 years.
When I came to India, the climate was completely different and I enjoyed the hot climate. Hyderabad was a big city and I visited many popular places like Charminar and Birla mandir temple. When i saw my apartments and community it was and people are also kind. When I started living in the rented apartment, at first I felt sad because back in Japan, everyday my friends would come to my house and we would play and do homeworks in the garden but in these apartments,I didn't have any neighbors. After a few months, I finally made a neighbor. She was amiable and kind. When I started going to Oakridge International school, it all appeared to be very different from what I expected as the teachers and friends were very nice to me. I was happy to study in this school. In Japan we had to walk to our schools, but in India we were going to school from the bus. It was nice as I love to travel from the bus so I enjoyed it a lot. It was different from japanese school and international school. At first, it took time to understand the english language, but after 6,7 months, I started understanding the language.
In Japan there were no functions and festivals, but sometimes we had parties together once a month, but in India, there were a lot of festivals. First, I didn't know that my grandfather had 8 sisters and brothers and my grandmother had 6 sisters and brothers. I was so surprised that I had many family members. First time I met my cousins. I didn't know I had family members.
After 2 years, I felt very sad because I didn't want to go back to Japan because I would be missing my friends, family and my school. It was hard to change the place where I lived for 2 years. I had understood the family relations and made a lot of friends.
